April Play-cation will take place April 19-26, 2014!

**Please note: Children attending all programs (except Lifeguard Training) must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All programs are free, but some require advance registration.

SATURDAY 4/19

Your City Saturdays
11AM-12PM | Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center, 246 Market St. | Ages 3-8

No registration required
Hang out with park rangers, get creative, explore your city. Every third Saturday through May, we’ll creatively explore Lowell through story, song, and arts & crafts. All families with kids ages 3-8 are invited to attend!

National Park Week: Free day at the Boott Cotton Mills

Tuesday, April 22nd through Friday, April 25th: Lowell High School Pool 8:00AM-4:00PM. Lifeguard Training class.

This Lifeguard Training class is free of charge, if participants work for our department over the summer as a lifeguard. If they choose to use their certification to work somewhere else, the class is $150.

Mix, Cut and Scratch–DJ Techniques on two Turntables

Calling all Special Needs kids and their families! Come join us for a super Saturday morning. We’ll share stories, sing songs, move and groove and do other fun things. Siblings are welcome. At the end of the session there will be time for families to visit and a snack will be provided. If your child has food allergies or food sensitivities we encourage you to bring his own preferred snack. LoWellness Festival

Join us for the LoWellness Festival–Boardinghouse Park and the Boott Mills Courtyard will be alive with free interactive performances (get up and dance!), health screenings, food and gardening demonstrations, outdoor activities and games for kids of all ages, and more ! Come experience what “Lowellness” is all about !

The Boott Mills Museum will also be offering free admission–come on in and check out the power and noise of the 90 looms still operated by leather belts and still weaving cloth after nearly 100 years!
